ABOUT US · OUR STORY

Designed to complement what already matters to you.

Designs for the Living is built around a simple idea: a finished design can give a product personality, while your own photos, words and memories can make that design feel unmistakably yours.

A starting point, not a limitation.

Our personalized templates begin with a complete visual idea—color, framing, illustration and layout already working together. Instead of asking you to design from a blank page, we give you a polished place to start and make room for the pieces only you can provide.

Depending on the template, that may mean a family photo, a favorite pet, a name, a date, a message or another personal detail. The goal is for the artwork to support your image rather than compete with it.

Creativity should invite more creativity.

I love creating artwork, but I also love seeing what happens when someone else brings their own story into it. Designs for the Living is meant to do both: offer finished creative work and give customers an intuitive way to participate in the final result.

That is why the shop includes both personalized designs and completed mugs. Some customers want to make something personal; others simply want a finished design they connect with. Both belong here.

WHERE THE SHOP IS GOING

More personal. More consistent. More useful.

The shop began with a strong automotive focus, but the larger idea has grown beyond any one subject. Today the direction is a consistent collection of customizable and ready-to-shop products built around hobbies, holidays, pets, families, memories and the things people care about in everyday life.

The common thread is not a single theme. It is the relationship between a designed image and the customer who makes it their own. We want the finished piece to look intentional before personalization—and even more meaningful after it.
